So you have planned your event, and now you think it would be great if more people heard about it. Whether this is a cultural celebration, a performance, or a sports event, and you want to promote your group and all the amazing activities you do, we can help you do just that. This is a great opportunity for your event to gain visibility.


Events for the calendar should meet the following criteria: 


  • Open to All Students: Your event should be accessible to every student on campus - not just your members.
  • One-Off Event: Recurring events (like weekly meetings) do not qualify
  • No Bake sales (due to the large number that take place)


Submitting your Event Proposal


Once you're confident that your event meets the criteria, you can proceed to submit your event proposal: 


  • Access the Form: Go to the Student Group Admin Form.
  • Select Event Calendar Option: When prompted, choose “Do you want to advertise on SU Events Calendar?” and click “Yes.”
  • Provide Event Description: Include a brief two-line description of your event and a more detailed one to help us promote it effectively.



Once your event proposal and risk assessment are approved, your event will be showcased on our website.
