This funding is aimed at Student Groups who train in external facilities due to the lack of on campus facilities for that sport. The funding can be used towards facility hire and transport costs to the venue.
What classifies as an Off Campus Group?
Off Campus Groups are defined by those clubs that require specific training facilities that Royal Holloway does not provide including but not limited to a Swimming pool, Equestrian Centre's, golf courses and climbing walls.
Clubs that fall into the Off Campus category include:
Athletics
Climbing
Ice Skating
Motorsport
Polo
Riding
Rowing
Snow
Squash
Swimming
Trampolining
The maximum a group can apply for in an academic year is up to £500 depending upon the number of paid standard members as detailed in the breakdown below.

Off Campus Group funding can be applied for in Terms 1 & 2 by contacting Student Opportunities via Freshdesk or emailing Studentopprtunities@su.rhul.ac.uk. If your application is successful, it will go into your groups' grant account and will be reclaimed if unspent at the end of the financial year (July 31st)

Number of paid members
Amount applying for
Reason for applying
Evidence of cost that the funding will be used for eg cost of facility hire or estimated cost of travel
Whilst we do have funding available it is important to note that it is a limited pot and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
