In a normal year, we would be in the SU Main Hall or at the De Vere Beaumont hosting a big ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our student groups, but sadly this is just not possible this year. However, while this year has been challenging to say the least, you have all still managed to accomplish so much and deserve to be recognised. Even though we can’t have red carpet photos and welcome drinks together, join us on Instagram where we will hand out awards for all of the great work you have done this year.
We will use a series of Instagram Lives, IGTV and Stories to announce the winners throughout the evening, so make sure to watch along!

Nominations
Nominations open: 19 March 12pm
Nominations close: 1 April 12pm
Things to consider:
- Committees are responsible for nominating their groups for group awards. Groups can nominate themselves for as many awards as they feel necessary.
- All nominees should be nominated by the committee using the online form.
- If there is an overwhelming amount of nominations for one group, committee members can discuss who best meets the criteria and then vote for who should be put forward.
- For Crests and Vice President’s Cup, a current address will need to be provided for the individuals nominated.
Want to submit a nomination for your group? Check out the training session below the Student Opportunities team held covering the do's and don'ts of writing a good nomination.
