Representing Royal Holloway in any form of competition, from dance to delegations, is a great honour and opportunity for your members. Whether it’s the first time getting involved or your Group regularly attends this competition, we want to know about it. Unless we know about Competitions, we can't shout about them, help with funding or support you with any required logistics.

If your group would like to compete in a fixture or competition, the first thing you must do is complete the Competition/Fixture/Tournament section of the Student Group Admin Form. This is where you should provide us with all the information relevant to the event.

Please do not proceed with your fixture or competition until this has been approved by us. You should submit the form at least two weeks in advance of your fixture/the event for this to be approved.

Friendly Fixtures/Tournaments

If you are planning on hosting a friendly fixture or competition you must follow the above process and let us know which venue you would like to hire, as well as times. We cannot guarantee that we can book you the requested space, but the more in advance the better.

We do have very limited space at our facilities so please understand we cannot always provide you with the requested space.

BUCS Competitions

In the case of BUCS competitions, you must also email us a list of all your participants, what category they're joining as well as a ranking list if required. BUCS has strict deadlines, so if you miss them we cannot do anything. You must get each participant to join the relevant BUCS competition by the given student deadline. We must be notified of your intention to join before this deadline; we are only given 48 hours to approve your entries from the closing of applications, so it is essential you let us know if you want to go to this competition.

So our first steps are to fill out the fixture form above, to let us know what you are planning. That's when we can tag in and help where you need us; travel, booking or marketing.
